Robbery at Stoney Creek

Sheriff BJ Barnes with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect. On October 4, 2008 at approximately 11:30 am, Tate Real Estate located at 954 Golf House Rd West, was the victim of a robbery.
A white male entered the business and asked about homes in the Stoney Creek area. The male then became loud and attempted to grab the agent by the arm at which point the suspect pulled out a handgun. When a second suspect entered the business, the agent was tied up and locked in the restroom. The suspects took the agent’s cell phone, computer, and ATM cards.
The agent was discovered later that evening by a cleaning person who contacted the Sheriff’s Office. The agent suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS personnel. The agent’s ATM card has been used at two locations since the robbery and the photo obtained from an ATM camera is shown below.
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call Detective G. Moore at (336) 641-5940 or Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000.00 for information leading to an arrest or indictment.
